Investigation Discovery (ID) in the U.S. has ordered new seasons of a trio of factual programs from Arrow Media’s slate.

Heading into its third season is The Devil Speaks, a crime series that focuses on cases in which real audio helped to solve murders. American Monster, which goes beyond the scene of the crime and into the lives of some of America’s most shocking murderers via home movie footage, is returning for a fourth season. In its sixth season, See No Evil, a co-production with Blue Ant Studio’s Saloon Media, examines crimes solved with the aid of surveillance camera footage. This slate of commissions totals 39 hours across the three series.

Tom Brisley, creative director for Arrow Media, said: “The returnable series is the holy grail of production—they are the bedrock of growing a successful production company, content that everyone wants to make but which can prove elusive. Arrow Media has put a huge amount of development effort into not only growing our returnable series slate but also making sure that our current series still deliver—remaining as fresh and compelling as the day they first hit the screens. It’s great to see our series portfolio become just as strong as our limited series, singles and specials work. The U.K. market is as equally important to us as the U.S. market, so we are looking forward to continuing to grow our U.K. footprint too, in the next 12 months.”
