OTTAWA: Gusto Worldwide Media, the production and distribution arm of Canadian food and lifestyle channel Gusto TV, has sold its original 4K food series One World Kitchen to Fatafeat TV, a Discovery Communications company.

One World Kitchen features five female cooks with global perspectives on Thai, Indian, Argentinean, Japanese and Italian cuisine. The show has also been sold to Greek digital satellite pay-TV platform Nova, which is currently airing the series.

Fatafeat TV is the first free-to-air food channel in the Middle East, with a footprint that spans 21 Arabic countries. The sale was arranged by Tanweer Group, Gusto Worldwide Media’s local representative for the Middle East.
