Fremantle has picked up the international rights for Notre-Dame: In Flames, a one-off documentary special about the recent fire that engulfed the cathedral’s roof.

The doc will feature exclusive footage of the tragic event, offering a minute-by-minute account of before, during and the aftermath of the blaze at the historic landmark. It will include videos and images shot by the firefighters on the scene, members of the Paris Police Department and tourists that witnessed the fire at the cathedral. Interviews with the organist and priest of Notre-Dame, who were inside the building when the fire began, and others, will also be shown in Notre-Dame: In Flames.

The latest addition to Fremantle’s growing factual slate of programming, Notre-Dame: In Flames was originally produced by STP Productions and reversioned by TV Presse, a division of Fremantle’s French production arm.
