Food Network has ordered a third season of Wildcard Kitchen and inked an exclusive multiyear deal with host Eric Adjepong.

In season three, the Ghanaian-American chef will continue to welcome all-star chefs to his underground poker game, where they cook, bet, bluff and backstab for cash and bragging rights.

Adjepong, born and raised in New York City as a first-generation Ghanaian-American, is known for introducing West African cuisine to the mainstream culinary conversation. After graduating with degrees in culinary arts and nutrition from Johnson & Wales, Adjepong went on to obtain his Masters of Public Health in international public health and nutrition from the University of Westminster. From there, he cooked in several Michelin-starred restaurants before taking his talents to Top Chef.

On Food Network, Adjepong has appeared on Alex vs. America, Selena + Chef, Chopped, Guy’s Grocery Games, Supermarket Stakeout, Tournament of Champions and more. He has partnered with brands such as AYO Foods, Bowery and Tanqueray and has a long-standing commitment to organizations like Save the Children.

Adjepong is the owner of the Ghanaian-inspired restaurant Elmina, which opened in Washington, D.C. in February.
