Espresso Media Expands Slate with 20 New Factual Titles

Espresso Media has acquired the rights to more than 20 new factual titles across genres.

“We’re very proud of the slate and the breadth of content on offer—from premium wildlife and history to fact-ent and world affairs,” said Colette Webber, acquisitions manager at Espresso. “It reflects our commitment to curating distinctive, high-quality storytelling across factual genres and highlights Espresso’s strong partnerships with talented independent producers worldwide.”

The Man Who Wanted to Change the World, Sky UK and Sky Italia’s crime-history docuseries, was among those picked up.

Factual entertainment will feature Route 66, Britain’s Rivers from Above and High Altitude Carpenters. In the science sector is The Cost of Convenience.

Sports title Ski Dreams is also being represented in time for the Winter Olympic Games.

The Forbidden University and Poised join the new world affairs slate.

Joining the wildlife titles are Addiction Unplugged, The Green Desert, Outside the Frame, Montana Ranchers: The Quest for Harmony and Bee-Kept.

Tough Old Broads and Shades of Survival represent women’s stories.
