eOne Sends David Attenborough Series to Canada

LOS ANGELES: Entertainment One (eOne) has sold the natural-history docuseries David Attenborough’s The Great Barrier Reef to CBC in Canada.

David Attenborough’s The Great Barrier Reef looks on as the titular naturalist explores the Great Barrier Reef, which is home to various species of fish, whales, dolphins, turtles and birds. The first three episodes of the four-parter will begin airing on CBC at 9 p.m. on January 28. The episodes will rebroadcast on the following Sundays at 7 p.m on the Documentary Channel starting January 31. The Documentary Channel will also air an exclusive “making of David Attenborough’s The Great Barrier Reef” episode on February 21 at 7 p.m.
