Discovery en Español Unveils Digital-First Sports Series

Discovery en Español has expanded into the sports entertainment space with its new series Locos x el Deporte.

The series—hosted by TNT Sports México personalities Miroslava Montemayor, Pepe del Bosque and Daniel Barba—is premiering digitally today on Discovery en Español GO with 11-minute episodes. The linear version, launching on October 5 on Discovery en Español, will feature 22-minute episodes.

“Locos X el Deporte brings us into the sports market with the energy, culture, and passion that define Hispanic fans,” said David Tardio, senior VP of ad sales at Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Hispanic. “It also creates new opportunities for advertisers to connect with our audience through sports storytelling that’s as commercially powerful as it is culturally relevant.”
