Co-Pro Deal for Znak&Co, Lucky 8 TV

Znak&Co and Lucky 8 TV have entered into an international co-production partnership, through which the companies will develop and co-produce unscripted programming in the U.K.

The first project to come from the partnership is a prison format, Bad Girls Banged Up, which takes at-risk female teenagers from the U.K. and subjects them to the U.S. corrections system for one week. Znak&Co President Natalka Znak and Lucky 8 TV Co-Presidents Kim Woodard and Greg Henry will serve as executive producers on the project.

Znak commented: “Lucky 8 is one of the most innovative and daring production companies in the United States and has garnered unprecedented access to some of the country’s toughest jails. It’s really exciting to be in business with them and bring their unique brand and sensibility to the British marketplace.”

Woodard and Henry added: “We’re elated to bring our work to the U.K. market alongside Znak&Co, whose singular creative expertise and success in developing programming and formats internationally make them an ideal partner for delivering content to U.K. audiences.”
