Cineflix Media is partnering with Jacqueline Bynon on the new production company More to the Story Media, which will specialize in investigative true-crime series, documentaries, movies and podcasts.

The partnership gives Cineflix Media the first option to develop and co-produce original content with Bynon. More to the Story Media’s projects will, in turn, have access to services and development support from Cineflix Productions. Cineflix Rights has the exclusive first look to distribute More to the Story Media content internationally.

Bynon is a seasoned writer, producer and investigative journalist. At Cineflix, her executive producer credits include the cold case investigation documentary series and podcast The Clown and the Candyman and Children of the Snow; the documentary specials Colleen Stan: The Girl in the Box, Elizabeth Shoaf: The Girl in the Bunker and Joyce Mitchell and the New York Prison Break; the medical series Sin City ER; and the true-crime series Murder in Paradise, Cold Blood and Motives & Murders, as well as Nazi Hunters.

“There’s always more to a story than you hear on the news or in court—and that’s where I want to go. At its core, crime is about psychology and relationships, and the deeper we dig, the more we reveal the human tragedy at the center of the story,” said Bynon, president of More to the Story Media. “Trust is a key ingredient that gives an investigative journalist the incentive to keep digging, and Cineflix has given me the freedom to pursue stories rigorously over the years—I’m excited to be partnering with them on More to the Story Media.”

“Jacqueline was the driving force behind many of Cineflix’s stand-out investigative true-crime series that saw success on an international scale. Integrity and purpose are woven through her work,” said J.C. Mills, president and commercial director of Cineflix Productions. “What impresses me most is that Jacqueline leaves absolutely no stone unturned in her pursuit of the truth.”
