Chatterbox Media has elevated Ellie Sabine-Singh to be its new head of development.

In this new role, she will lead Chatterbox’s push to expand the company’s engagement with SVODs and broadcasters worldwide, as well as work to build upon its existing success with U.K. networks. Sabine-Singh, who has worked at Chatterbox since 2020, will take up her new role later this month.

Sabine-Singh’s promotion will see her join the senior management team that includes Chatterbox’s co-founders and creative directors, Ali Quirk and Nav Raman, and Rosie Taylor, the recently announced head of production.

Before joining Chatterbox, Sabine-Singh worked at MTV International as a digital video producer and development producer. Prior to that, she was a development assistant producer at Ricochet Brighton.

Quirk said: “Ellie is one of the industry’s rising stars. Having her move into the strategic role of head of development is a no-brainer following the brilliant contribution she has made during her time at the company. We are thrilled to have seen her grow into a key member of the team. Her talent for understanding young and diverse audiences is a great asset for us, helping to ensure we are producing compelling content for as wide a demographic as possible.”

Sabine-Singh added: “Growing alongside a young company has offered me great opportunities and enabled me to have significant creative input on a range of projects—over the last two years I’ve enjoyed working on a diverse slate of development projects and productions. Reaching people with warmth, entertainment and representation is at the heart of what I love. I’m thrilled to take on this exciting new role as Chatterbox pushes into its next chapter.”
