True North has been commissioned to produce the new observational documentary series The Pets Factor for CBBC.

The Pets Factor gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the best veterinary practices in Britain. The show will be hosted by Stacey Dooley and produced by Sima Ray. It is being executive produced by Jess Fowle for True North and Hugh Lawton for CBBC.

Fowle said: “We scoured the country to find the U.K.’s most caring, funny, talented and animal-crackers vets and they’ve really delivered for us with amazing animal drama and high-stakes storylines, plus loads of behind-the-scenes banter and antics.”

True North is also producing another season of Walks with My Dog for broadcast on More 4 later this year. The program sees celebrities stroll with their canine companions in picturesque locations around the U.K. Last season featured such famous personalities as Ben Fogle, Phil Spencer, Bill Bailey, Sarah Parish and John Nettles.

Andrew Sheldon, co-founder of True North, said: “It’s a series that’s a joy to make as well as watch, and we’re delighted to be dusting off the doggy cam once again for a new [season] with some stunning and unexpected locations.”
