Boat Rocker Greenlights Titles from Shark Teeth Films

Boat Rocker has greenlit four new and returning original series through its partnership with Shark Teeth Films.

Among the new commissions is Abandoned Inventions, a ten-parter that explores history’s most radical and dangerous inventions, many of which were abandoned, forgotten or deliberately erased. It focuses in particular on military innovations, using CGI reconstructions and firsthand testimony from experts and insiders.

Abandoned Inventions will deliver at the end of 2025.

Boat Rocker also gave the green light for a fifth season of Secrets in the Ice, due in Q1 of 2026. The new season will continue to uncover previously inaccessible mysteries and relics once frozen in time in the Earth’s coldest places, now exposed amid the changing climate.

Also set for delivery in early 2026 is a second season of Discovered by Disaster, examining mysterious curiosities that have been uncovered by extreme weather and calamitous incidents.

The new series Secrets Beneath the City, meanwhile, will dive into the hidden worlds beneath urban streets to uncover tales of ingenuity, survival and human ambition. From the subterranean crypts of Europe and hidden wartime bunkers to mysterious, unexplained tunnel networks, cutting-edge technology and research is enabling archaeologists, historians and scientists to tell stories that have the potential to reshape the understanding of human history.

In addition to greenlighting new series and seasons, Boat Rock has continued to score new deals for Shark Teeth’s content. Season four of Secrets in the Ice landed deals with Seven. One in Germany, RTI in Italy and Bell Media in Canada, while season one of Discovered by Disaster was licensed by National Geographic in the U.S., Seven. One in Germany, RTI in Italy, Blue Ant Media and Bell Media in Canada.
