TORONTO: Blue Ant International has acquired new HD titles in the factual entertainment, nature, wildlife and premium documentary categories, totaling 75-plus hours of unscripted content.

Blue Ant International, a division of Blue Ant Media, will present these new acquisitions, as well as returning 4K and HD titles, at MIPTV in April. New in the factual-entertainment category is Airport Impossible (produced by Our House Media), which goes behind-the-scenes at the world’s fastest growing airport to see what it takes to get millions of passengers into the air each day. There is also Brojects in the House (Farmhouse Productions), featuring reno-masters Kevin and Andrew as they set out to transform a century-old lodge hall into the ultimate weekend escape. Other titles in the factual-entertainment space include 100 Day Bach (Stripe Media), Bigfoot Commandos (Gryphon Productions), Wrecking Plan (Hopelite Entertainment), National Parks Secrets and Legends (Galafilm), New Zealand Hunter Adventures (New Zealand Hunter Magazine), Fish of the Day (Wild Film) and Post My Party (General Purpose Entertainment and Blue Ant Media).

In the documentary category, Blue Ant International will showcase a multitude of HD and 4K titles such as The Cowboy (Network Entertainment), and I Am What I Play (Distraction Entertainment). New and returning 4K titles include America Over the Edge, which takes audiences on an aerial journey above the geographical features that define the U.S., tracing one of the most diverse coasts in the world, and a new season of Hope for Wildlife, both from Arcadia Entertainment.

“With rapid changes in our industry, the importance of working with the best producers worldwide is paramount,” said Solange Attwood, the senior VP of Blue Ant International. “Our latest acquisitions from leading third-party producers emphasizes our strategy of securing global production partnerships to deliver premium content to our clients across all platforms.”
