Blink49 Studios Taps Creature Films Founder Mark Ford

Blink49 Studios, a FIFTH SEASON-backed company, has appointed Mark Ford, founder of Creature Films, as chief creative officer for unscripted.

Ford will now oversee the studio’s unscripted media development and production. His credits include MTV’s Laguna Beach and Siesta Key, Paramount’s Behind the Music and A&E’s Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G., Streets of Compton and L.A. Burning.

Current unscripted titles in development at Blink49 include Queen of the Castle for CTV Life, Beast Games for Prime Video and The Braxtons and Toya & Reginae for We TV.

As chief creative officer, Ford will report to Tara Long, president of global unscripted television.

“Mark is an exceptional creative talent whose storytelling has consistently set the standard in unscripted television,” Long said. “Having worked closely with him before, I’ve witnessed his ability to craft captivating narratives that resonate with audiences.
