Beyond Rights has closed significant pan-territory deals in Latin America, placing more than 200 hours of factual programming with NBCUniversal and Discovery.

The deal with NBCUniversal Latin America includes 129 hours of true-crime content, including the seven-season series Murder Made Me Famous. Through dramatic re-creations of well-known crimes, archival material and commentary from those connected to the case, the series examines some of the most notorious killers.

NBCUniversal Latin America also acquired the true-crime titles Confessions of a Serial Killer, Fatal Vows and Inside Crime.

The Discovery Latin America package, meanwhile, totals 93 hours and focuses on lifestyle content. It includes season three of Love It or List It, seasons four and five of Love It or List It Vancouver and all nine seasons of Botched Up Bodies.

Lenneke de Jong, Beyond Rights’ VP of sales for Latin America, said: “I am delighted to have concluded these deals with two such prestigious pan-regional players as Discovery and NBCUniversal. There is a great appetite for good true-crime and lifestyle content in Latin America, and we not only have several compelling titles in each genre but also many returning series and franchise extensions. This can provide our broadcast partners with strong, recognizable brands for their channels, as well as valuable volume to help hook and grow their audiences.”
