BBC has ordered the new docuseries Home to Roost, following Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s return to the U.K., for BBC One.

Twenty years after the Osbourne family moved to the U.S. and became reality TV stars with The Osbournes, Ozzy and Sharon are returning to the U.K. to restart their lives in Buckinghamshire. The series will document important moments such as Sharon’s 70th birthday, their daughter’s soon-to-be-born baby, Ozzy’s tour and more.

Home to Roost is a collaboration between Expectation’s factual and entertainment teams. It will air on BBC One and iPlayer in 2023. Banijay Rights is handling international distribution.

“I’m delighted that the Osbournes will be sharing this next chapter in their lives with BBC viewers in what promises to be a funny, moving and honest insight in their new life in the U.K.,” said Clare Sillery, head of commissioning for documentaries at BBC.

Ben Wicks and Colin Barr, creative directors of Expectation, added, “Rejoining the Osbournes as they return to the U.K. is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Twenty years ago, they shaped television for all of us. Now, they’re coming home at a different stage in their lives, but with the promise of the same laughter, love and tears. We can’t wait to work with them and to share it with BBC One viewers in 2023.”
