Banijay Rights has picked up the distribution rights outside of the U.S. for a pair of CNN culinary series that feature Stanley Tucci and Eva Longoria.

Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy follows the Emmy Award-winning actor as he explores the stories and people behind Italian cuisine, taking viewers into the food markets and hidden trattorias of the Italian peninsula.

There are two seasons available, with 14 hour-long episodes total. It was produced by Raw TV and acquired by BBC Two in the U.K.

In Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico, produced by Raw TV and Longoria, the award-winning actress, producer and director explores the lands of her ancestors to see how Mexico’s culture, landscape and history have shaped its cuisine. The six-part series takes viewers on a journey through age-old rituals and some of the world’s top restaurants.

“Told through the prism of two of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars, these charming, extraordinary series shine the spotlight on the world’s most renowned culinary cultures and the incredible stories surrounding them,” said Nicola Davey, VP of acquisitions at Banijay Rights. “We’re delighted both series join our growing multi-genre catalog, and we’re in no doubt they will appeal to international buyers this year.”
