Autentic Distribution Unveils Fall & Winter Lineup

Autentic Distribution has slated its fall and winter offering ahead of MIPCOM, spanning over 100 hours of brand-new documentaries and factual series across a variety of genres.

Leading the current affairs lineup is the two-part Dying Democracies–Europe in Decline, produced by Autentic Studios; Deserted–Europe’s Deadly Migration Policy, an investigative documentary produced by BR, Deutsche Welle, NDR and Lighthouse Reports; Nukemailing–Nuclear Blackmail at State Level, from Heroes Docs and DOCDAYS Productions; and NZZ’s African Gas: Europe’s New Energy Source, which investigates the potential of Africa’s untapped gas reserves.

In the factual entertainment genre, Metal Detective, produced by Formasette, follows the treasure-hunting adventures of Gibba as he uncovers relics from historic battlefields across Europe. The new season of sagamedia’s A Farm of Our Own continues to follow families transforming their lives by embracing nature and self-sufficiency on their farms.

Autentic Distribution’s history slate explores how destinations worldwide have become legendary social hotspots. There’s Rum & Revolution–History of Havana by Autentic Studios and Sun & Splendor–History of Marbella, produced by Moving Stories Production. The slate also includes stories of luxury and culture in St. Moritz, the allure of Marrakesh and the transformation of Ibiza into a global music and lifestyle destination.

Adding to the lineup, Deadly Science II, produced by Go Button Media with Autentic Studios, unearths the human costs behind major scientific breakthroughs. Mandu Yenu–The Stolen Throne? by Medea Film Factory investigates the story behind a Cameroonian king’s throne given to German colonial rulers and explores the ongoing cultural impact and struggle to reclaim stolen heritage.
