Autentic Distribution Kicks Off 2019 with New Package Deals

Autentic Distribution is starting the new year with a number of new package deals across the globe.

The Wild Andes, a three-part series hosted by Christian Baumeister from Light & Shadow, has been acquired by TRT in Turkey, TVB in Hong Kong, ITI Neovision in Poland, SRF and RTS in Switzerland, Rai in Italy and RTVE in Spain. Spain’s RTVE has also picked up a program package with more than 20 hours of nature and people programming, including the ten-part series Stereotypes by Fleischmann Film or Who’s Beautiful? by Kobalt Productions.

UR in Sweden opted for a package of 15 hours of programming that includes Balkan Boom Towns by Micafilm and the five-part series 15th Meridian East, which Autentic co-produced with DM Film. SRF in Switzerland has purchased a package that includes both Balkan Boom Towns and 15th Meridian East in addition to WDR’s investigative report Anti-Semitism in Europe. The Polish broadcaster TVN picked up the four-part series Mass Tourism: Massive Problems, also from WDR.

In the U.S., CuriosityStream’s package has history titles like Casei Media’s The Egtved Girl or The DC-3 Story, produced by Vidicom. Alliant Content’s history bundle features Silent Saviours by Gebrüder Beetz and The Auctioneers by Hoferichter & Jacobs.
