Asylum Taps Sky & NBCUniversal Alum Rob Siegel

Asylum Entertainment Group has hired Sky Group and NBCUniversal alum Rob Siegel as head of business development and strategy.

Siegel will work to accelerate the company’s global M&A strategy, responsible for both the origination and execution of strategic opportunities in the U.S. and abroad. He will be based in London.

Siegel joins with more than 15 years of experience within the content and financial services industries. He spent the past four years working for Comcast Corporation companies Sky Group and NBCUniversal out of their respective U.K. headquarters. Most recently, he was director of strategy and business development at Sky Studios. When he was at NBCUniversal, he worked as senior VP of business development.

Prior to that, Siegel helped to establish Fremantle’s M&A team and rose to head of M&A and corporate development while completing more than 20 transactions during an almost five-year period.
