Animal Planet Slates Long-Form Series with YouTube Star

Wilderness Productions is prepping a new original series for Animal Planet led by YouTube personality Coyote Peterson.

Animal Planet is exclusively working with Peterson to develop a new long-form TV show featuring wild expeditions and rare up-close animal experiences. The program is due to debut on the network next year. Peterson is best know as host of the popular Brave Wildness channel on YouTube.

“Coyote is curious, fearless and very passionate about animals and animal conservation, inspiring a whole new generation of animal enthusiasts,” said Kurt Tondorf, Animal Planet’s senior VP of development. “We are delighted Coyote’s bringing his infectious enthusiasm and knowledge to Animal Planet. We look forward to sharing his new animal adventures with his ‘Coyote Pack’ of fans and our audiences across all screens around the globe.”
