Ample Inks First-Look Deal with Shadow of Truth Filmmakers

Ample Entertainment has signed a first-look deal with Yotam Guendelman, Mika Timor and Ari Pines, the Israeli filmmakers behind the Netflix true-crime miniseries Shadow of Truth.

Under this agreement, Ample will collaborate with the creators to develop and produce a slate of premium stranger-than-fiction films and series in the unscripted space. The trio, who picked up three Israeli Academy Awards for Shadow of Truth, recently wrapped production on a yet-to-be-announced documentary for Showtime.

Ari Mark, co-founder of Ample Entertainment, said: “Premium unscripted content is at the heart of the stories we tell, so we’re always looking for unique opportunities to elevate our nonfiction portfolio by working with the freshest talent in the industry.”

The filmmakers added: “Aligning with a company like Ample allows us the creative collaboration and crucial infrastructure necessary as we continue to tackle characters and stories that matter and expand our international footprint.”
