ITV Locks in Another Season of Heathrow: Britain’s Busiest Airport

LONDON: ITV has ordered a third season of Raw’s documentary series Heathrow: Britain’s Busiest Airport.

Season three of the 3×1-hour docuseries will follow some of the 76,000-plus airport staff at Heathrow, from baggage handlers to air-traffic controllers to those in the airport’s underground sewerage system, as they work together to safely process 200,000 daily passengers and keep the airport running smoothly. The second season was one of ITV’s highest-rating documentary series of 2016.

Tom Barry, executive producer for Raw, said, “Heathrow is a brilliant filming precinct that allows our cameras access to a huge number of varied stories and we’re thrilled to be building on the continued success of this hit ITV series.”
