eOne Combines Paperny & Force Four

VANCOUVER/TORONTO: Entertainment One is combining its unscripted TV activities in Canada, bringing together Paperny Entertainment and Force Four Entertainment.

The combined Paperny and Force Four operations will be combined under the eOne Television brand. Cal Shumiatcher, who has served as executive VP of Paperny Entertainment since 2006, will lead the merged business and will oversee the combination process. Force Four’s John Ritchie is also taking on a new leadership role with the amalgamated operation.

David Paperny, the president of Paperny Entertainment, will remain with the company through a transition to July 31. Gillian Lowrey, the COO of Force Four Entertainment, will stay on until April 1. Audrey Mehler, the executive VP of Paperny Entertainment, will be leaving the company in the coming days.
