WASHINGTON, D.C.: This Sunday, National Geographic Channel is set to premiere Billy the Kid: New Evidence, a special executive produced by Kevin Costner.

The special delves into the story of an old photo that seems to show the famed fugitive playing croquet. The image, which was bought for $2 at an antique store in California, could now be worth $5 million. Using cutting-edge photo forensics and time-period recreations, the special will investigate the photograph’s origin and authenticity.
