Three years in the making, The Secret Lives of Animals is an exploration of extraordinary animal behaviors—some of which were captured on film for the first time. It features 77 unique species in 24 countries, looking at pivotal moments in their life cycles—from birth and leaving home to raising a family, finding food and growing old—that showcase their intelligence and adaptability. Hugh Bonneville (PaddingtonDownton Abbey) narrates all the action.

 

The Secret Lives of Animals is produced for Apple TV+ by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, marking their third collaboration, following the Emmy Award-nominated series Prehistoric Planet and The Year Earth Changed.
