Sunny Side of the Doc Organizer Appoints New Managing Director

Doc Services, the organizer of Sunny Side of the Doc, Global Pitch and the PiXii Festival, has promoted Aurélie Reman to managing director.

Reman joined Doc Services in December 2013 and most recently served as director of operations and partnerships for the company’s three events. As managing director, she will open the press conference revealing the official selection and highlights of the 35th edition of Sunny Side of the Doc on April 23.

Prior to joining Doc Services, Reman worked in London in the video game industry, helping to develop and implement European marketing plans for the launch of original licenses developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

At the Sunny Side of the Doc press conference on April 23, she will be joined by Mathieu Béjot, director of strategy and development at Sunny Side of the Doc, and Maïté Labat, head of innovation and digital experiences programming.

“My appointment is first and foremost in line with the work my teams and I have been doing over the last few years to ensure that we remain a key player in the audiovisual industry and in a complex world that is constantly changing,” Reman said. “At Doc Services, always seeking to renew ourselves is a key value of our culture. It’s something I’m going to make sure I pursue in my new role within the company, advocating for diversity as a strength and promoting a new dialogue that we want to lead from next June as part of the 35th anniversary of Sunny Side of the Doc.”
