Love Nature has set a slate of new original programming that includes Deep Dive North America (w.t.), the second Deep Dive installment, among other titles.

Building on the success of Deep Dive Australia, the new 6×60-minute Deep Dive North America will see wildlife host and biologist Lizzie Daly team up with a network of U.S.-based experts and research institutions to take a look at the marine life of the region.

More programs on the slate include Off the Fence’s 2×50-minute Snow Leopards with Dan O’Neill (w.t.); Discovery’s hour-long Boss Shark (w.t.), hosted by an all-star team of shark specialists that includes Dr. Riley Elliot and Kori Burkhardt; and WildBear Entertainment’s 4×60-minute Wild Sky (w.t.), produced by veteran natural history filmmaker Dr. Chadden Hunter.

Blue Ant Studios’ rights division will oversee presales and licensing outside of the commissioning territories.

“Infusing our original programming with new talent who are leading the world in wildlife filmmaking offers a key point of distinction for Love Nature’s natural history programming,” says Carlyn Staudt, general manager of Love Nature and head of commissioning for global media at Blue Ant Media. “The hosts and other human characters in these series ignite a sense of curiosity and wonder and act as guides who unlock perspectives on nature and wildlife stories audiences wouldn’t hear of otherwise.”
