A+E EMEA to Launch True-Crime Podcasts

A+E Networks EMEA is expanding into the audio space by launching a lineup of true-crime podcasts, including Courtroom Drama.

Courtroom Drama, produced by ITN Productions, launched on November 15. The podcast follows as host Jackie Adedeji, along with her cast of voice actors and legal, social and psychological contributors, discuss several high-profile celebrity courtroom cases.

More podcasts in the lineup include a co-produced special pilot of Raphael Rowe’s Second Chance, featuring reformed criminal Stephen Mee, and Anatomy of a Stalker, produced by Cue Podcasts. They will launch on December 16 and January 17, respectively.

The new podcasts follow A+E Networks EMEA’s strategy of commissioning digital-first true-crime content from U.K. production companies to be aired on the company’s true-crime channel Crime+Investigation, streaming service Crime+Investigation Play and distributed across social media video and podcast platforms.
