VICE Studios Preps Ryan Tricks Series for 5STAR

The U.K.’s 5STAR has ordered a new factual-entertainment series, Dirty Tricks (working title), from VICE Studios.

The six-part series uses street magic to con, pinch and switch unsuspecting members of the public with astonishing tricks and scams. The show will be fronted by magician Ryan Tricks, who has already racked up over 200 million views across social media.

VICE Studios’ creative director and executive producer, Yonni Usiskin, said: “We are delighted to be working with 5STAR on our ambitious new factual-entertainment series, Dirty Tricks (w/t). It is very different from our previous commissions and marks our first move into factual entertainment.
