TVNZ Picks Up Endemol Programming

LONDON: A number of Endemol titles have been acquired by Television New Zealand Limited (TVNZ) for TV1, TV2 and digital channel TVNZ U.

TV1 and TV2 will air Puberty Blues, a coming-of-age drama series, as well as the comedies Happily Divorced and The Spa. Packed to the RaftersOffspring, BenidormWipeout USA and Restoration Man have been renewed, while My Kitchen Rules was picked up for a fourth season.

Programs acquired for TVNZ U include dating reality shows Sweet Home Alabama and Exposed; makeover series Snog, Marry, Avoid?; and Freak Like Me, which focuses on strange obsessions.

Andrew Shaw, the general manager of commissioning, production and acquisitions at Television New Zealand Limited, commented: "We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Endemol. This wide ranging collection of shows will make a significant contribution to our schedules in the coming months."
