Universal Channel Goes HD in Africa

LONDON: Universal Channel is celebrating one year on air in Africa by launching an HD version of the service on DStv.

Universal Channel made its debut on DStv in October 2011, and since that time has more than tripled its audience. Now, Universal Channel HD makes its debut in the African market. The services reach 51 countries across Africa.

The channels’ high-quality international series and movies, tailored to the local market, have resonated with the African audience and we will continue our investment in the region to further enhance viewer experience."
