M-Net Highlights New Titles

JOHANNESBURG: M-Net has lined up a slate of new dramas, in addition to content spanning the lifestyle, factual and kids’ genres.

Highlights from the company’s offerings include The Wild, a new, HD daily drama series from M-Net’s in-house production team. It tells the story of three families from different racial and cultural backgrounds. The Wild was nominated for six South African television awards. In addition, the series Jacob’s Cross is a drama that follows a high-powered oil company executive who longs to travel to New York to experience life’s more worldly pleasures. Other highlights include Cooking with Siba, which features Siba Mtongwana, one of South-Africa’s most renowned food editors; Great Africans, a documentary series celebrated the lives of prominent leaders; and Crimes Uncovered, a docu-drama crime series focusing on real South African crimes.
