SÃO PAULO: No Borders, an eight-part documentary co-produced by Brazil’s Mosquito Project and South Africa’s Ochre Moving Pictures, has launched on South African FTA channel eKasi+.

The documentary explores the reality of a favela in Brazil and of a township in South Africa through the eyes of two charismatic leaders who travel to each other’s countries. They share experiences, compare situations and identify the many cultural dialogues that connect the two south-south axis powers.

The producers, who first connected at RioContentMarket 2014, filmed the title in Rio de Janeiro this past June and in South Africa two months later. A Brazilian air date has yet to be scheduled. Mosquito Project is a member of the Brazilian Association of Independent Television Producers (ABPITV).
