A+E Networks Africa Bolsters Team

LONDON: A+E Networks has added to its team in Africa with the appointment of several new executives in the company’s Johannesburg office.

Nazarene Khan is the new head of marketing and sponsorship for Africa. Khan is responsible for all marketing, digital and communications for Lifetime, HISTORY and Crime + Investigation across Africa. Previously, Khan held the position of trade marketing director at Urban Brew Studios and before that was channel head at Glow TV.

Reporting to Khan is marketing executive Anita Gardini and social media coordinator Justice Tshabalala. Khan reports into Yusuf Nabee, the general manager for Africa at A+E Networks.

Nabee commented: “Nazarene, Anita and Justice will be working alongside me to build and execute our local brand and marketing strategy for A+E Networks’ portfolio across Africa. I am delighted to have such a strong local team and we are excited to play a key role in driving the company’s future performance in Africa.”
