Zodiak Kids Scores New Sales for Floogals

LONDON: Zodiak Kids has sold the popular preschool show Floogals into Australia, Italy and Scottish Gaelic-speaking U.K.

Floogals, which mixes CGI animation and live action, follows three tiny aliens as they explore Earth. The 52×11-minute series launched on NBCU’s Sprout in the U.S. earlier this year. It will become available soon on ABC in Australia, Cartoonito and DeAJunior in Italy, and BBC Alba for Scottish Gaelic-speaking U.K. In addition, NCircle licensed the DVD rights for North America.

Floogals has already sold to Discovery Kids in LatAm, TVO and Knowledge Network in Canada, Hop! Channel in Israel, Spectrum Film in Indonesia, YLE in Finland, Canal Panda in Portugal and MBC in the Middle East. The show is based on an original idea from Dan Good and was developed by Zodiak Kids Studios in association with Jellyfish Pictures and Nevision.
