INK Global has confirmed a new collaboration with the upcoming animated show ZAFARI and World Wildlife Fund (WWF) that is meant to encourage the next generation of conservationists.

As part of WWF’s efforts to inspire younger generations, ZAFARI will feature a series of videos intended to educate viewers about wildlife and wild places on our planet. The videos will support each episode of the show, which was created by David Dozoretz. Each video will showcase footage of animals in their natural habitats, with a child voiceover explaining a fun fact about the featured animal or location.

ZAFARI tells the story of a group of animal friends living in a land where all of the creatures have been magically born with varying skins, patterns and characteristics, making each one unique. NBCUniversal has global distribution rights for ZAFARI and the first season will be delivered soon. The show has been presold to France Télévisions, Lagardère’s TiJi, SRC Radio-Canada and SpaceToon. ZAFARI will air on NBCUniversal in the fall.

“Our work at INK is not just about entertaining children, it’s also about educating and enlightening them,” said INK Global’s director, Claus Tømming. “This new partnership will allow us to use the global reach of ZAFARI to further the conservation message and create future generations of WWF supporters.”
