Ynon Kreiz Set for TV Kids Summer Festival

Ynon Kreiz, the chairman and CEO of Mattel, will take part in a keynote conversation during the TV Kids Summer Festival, which is being held from June 7 to 10.

Kreiz is chairman and CEO of Mattel, a leading global toy company and owner of one of the strongest catalogs of children and family entertainment franchises in the world. Mattel engages consumers through its portfolio of iconic franchises, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, American Girl, Thomas & Friends and MEGA, as well as other popular brands that it owns or licenses in partnership with global entertainment companies.

Kreiz joined Mattel as CEO in April 2018 and was appointed chairman of the board of directors in May 2018 following several executive leadership positions in the media and entertainment industry. Prior to Mattel, Kreiz was the chairman and CEO of Maker Studios, which was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2014. Kreiz formerly served as the chairman and CEO of the Endemol Group and was co-founder, chairman and CEO of Fox Kids Europe N.V.

During his keynote, Kreiz will discuss Mattel’s strategy to transform into an IP-driven, high-performing toy company. Kreiz will outline Mattel’s progress toward capturing the full value of the company’s iconic IP portfolio and creating global franchises that extend beyond the toy aisle, highlighting momentum across Mattel Films, Mattel Television, digital gaming, e-commerce and more.
