True and the Rainbow Kingdom Surpasses 1 Billion YouTube Views

The Guru Studio preschool series True and the Rainbow Kingdom has received more than a billion views and amassed more than a million subscribers on YouTube.

In addition to its English-language channel, Guru recently launched True and the Rainbow Kingdom channels in more than 15 other languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Danish, French, German, Italian and Japanese. Within the first six months, the Portuguese and Spanish channels surpassed nearly 300,000 subscribers.

True and the Rainbow Kingdom releases regular content on YouTube each week, including clips, songs, activities and multilanguage content for the show’s worldwide audience. In addition to its presence on YouTube, four seasons of the series are currently streaming on Netflix. The show also airs on such linear networks as CBC Kids in Canada, Tiny Pop in the U.K., Gloob in Brazil and Clan TV in Spain.

A full range of True and the Rainbow Kingdom toys recently launched in the U.S., Canada and select international markets such as Israel, the Philippines and Australia. More territories, including the U.K., are scheduled to launch toys later this year.
