Toon2Tango has signed a development and co-production deal with Factory Rights and Keith Chapman Productions for Bravo Squad, a CGI series for upper preschoolers.
The new IP, from Bob the Builder and PAW Patrol creator Keith Chapman, follows the adventures of police cadet Oscar Bravo and his partner Juliet Tango as they race to emergencies, maintain order and keep the citizens and animals of their town safe.
A big part of each mission is the investigation, and Oscar and Juliet make use of their detective skills by following clues, collecting evidence and using deduction, with the help of police mechanic Mike Foxtrot.
Bravo Squad serves as a celebration of the everyday heroes of the police, fire, ambulance and rescue services, and it also highlights safety awareness and the importance of supporting community. It also promotes teamwork, STEAM and social-emotional learning.
“Bravo Squad aims to be the first globally successful police-themed preschool character-based show on the market—and with this extraordinary list of partners, including ourselves, Factory Rights and Keith Chapman, whose award-winning style and skill are part of the DNA of this captivating new show, it’s getting off to a truly amazing start!” said Ulli Stoef, co-founder of Toon2Tango. “We’re incredibly excited to be part of this game-changing project that will captivate and thrill young audiences and leave a lasting impact with its positive values of community, teamwork and friendship.”
Chapman commented, “I am thrilled to be working with Factory Rights and Toon2Tango to bring Bravo Squad to children all over the world. The police and first responders are our everyday heroes, and this aspirational show honors the work they do with humor, heart and fantastic storytelling.”
“To bring Bravo Squad to life alongside Keith [Chapman] and the team at Toon2Tango is a special opportunity, combining the creative and commercial talent of this unique collaboration,” added Phil Chalk of Factory Rights.
