Three New Commissions for Sky Kids

Sky Kids has commissioned three brand-new series to be produced in the U.K., including a movement and mindfulness series.

Jaime Amor of the Cosmic Kids Yoga YouTube channel, which boasts over 1.6 million subscribers, is hosting Jaime’s Yoga Adventures to boost emotional resilience and encourage physical movement. Amor will be joined by animal characters as she takes kids on a journey in a world of story, song and yoga moves.

Emerald, set to come to Sky Kids in 2025, is based on books by Isadora Moon creator Harriet Muncaster. The show will follow the journey of a rebellious, independent and creative mermaid princess as she learns how to navigate new family experiences through unexpected challenges and joys.

Also in the Sky Kids lineup is Ten Little…who?, a comedy animation series based on the best-selling picture books written by Mike Brownlow and illustrated by Simon Rickerty. Each episode will feature characters such as elves, pirates, dinosaurs and more, who will all walk, talk and sing numbers all the way to encourage playfulness with numbers. It is set to air in 2025, with a preview to launch in December with Ten Little Elves.

These series will join various returning titles, including Awesome Animals and Mini Me, which will feature a new segment that sees presenter Radzi Chinyanganya and his exercise buddies teach kids how to move like creatures; 123 Number Squad!; and Let’s Game.

“I couldn’t be happier to announce these new shows; “our audiences will have three great new shows to fall in love with as well as old friends returning with new seasons,” said Lucy Murphy, director of kids’ content at Sky. “These six commissions demonstrate our commitment to providing diverse and engaging entertainment, which reflects children’s interests in a rapidly changing media environment. And it’s great to be working with so many talented creative partners all over the U.K.”
