Disney Branded Television’s comedy The Villains of Valley View has scored a second season renewal from Disney Channel.

The show, following a family of supervillains forced to hide their powers after relocating to a sleepy Texas suburb, debuted in June. New episodes from season one will air beginning October 7, and production on season two will begin this fall.

Created by showrunners Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore (Lab Rats), The Villains of Valley View stars Isabella Pappas, Kayden Muller-Janssen, Lucy Davis (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), James Patrick Stuart (General Hospital), Malachi Barton (Under Wraps 2) and Reed Horstmann (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia).

“It isn’t hard to see why audiences have fallen in love with the villainous Madden family,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. “Despite a penchant for utilizing their superpowers in everyday life, Amy and family ultimately care about and support one another. Even though life can be messy, ridiculous and sometimes frightening, the Maddens demonstrate the (super)power of family and togetherness.”
