The Hood Season Two to Debut on Nickelodeon Israel

TEL AVIV: Nickelodeon Israel has scheduled the premiere of the sophomore season of The Hood, a live-action drama for kids and teens, for this year as shooting wraps on the latest run.

Created by Israeli writer Giora Chamizer (The Greenhouse) and produced by Nutz Productions, the first season of The Hood aired last year on Nickelodeon Israel. The series follows Ben, a widower with five kids who lives in “The Hood” in the middle of one of the richest districts in the country. Ben struggles to support his family with a series of failed businesses. The Hood combines this dramatic story line with comedy as Ben’s kids prank the snobbish teens living in the district.

The 50-episode second season will broadcast daily on Nickelodeon Israel, exclusively for HOT. The show became a hit on the Israeli cable network HOT, and the series was the most successful launch yet on HOT VOD Young.
