Studio 100 Film has finalized multiple deals for its upcoming feature films Miss Moxy and North, both set to premiere this year.
Miss Moxy, which follows a domesticated cat who gets lost during a summer holiday in southern France, has been picked up by Nowehoryzonty in Poland, Dazzler in the U.K. and Ireland, Profilms in Bulgaria, ADS-Services in Hungary and Romania, Donart in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Blitz in former Yugoslavia and Outsider Film in Portugal.
Previous deals for Miss Moxy were signed with ACME in the Baltics, NEO Films in Greece, Myndorm in Iceland, UFD in Ukraine, FilmHouse in Israel, Siyah Beyaz Film in Turkey, Mockingbird Pictures in Vietnam, AV-Jet in Taiwan and The Filmbridge in Mongolia.
Miss Moxy is a Dutch and Belgian co-production between Phanta Animation, BosBros and co-producers Eyeworks Film & TV Drama and AVOTROS. It is directed by Vincent Bal (Miss Minoes, The Zigzag Kid) and Wip Vernooij and written by Maureen Versprille (The Day My Father Became a Bush).
North, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen, has been sold to Norsk Filmdistribusjo in Scandinavia, Adler in Italy, ADS-Services in Hungary and Romania, Bohemia Motion Pictures in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Blitz in former Yugoslavia, Profilms in Bulgaria, Films4You in Portugal and GPI in the Baltics.
North was previously sold to Zinos Panagiotidis in Greece, Myndorm in Iceland, UFD in Ukraine, FilmHouse in Israel, Siyah Beyaz Film in Turkey, AV-Jet in Taiwan and The Filmbridge in Mongolia.
North is directed by Bente Lohne and produced by Hakon Gundersen (Flight of the Navigator, Free Jimmy) and his company PictoryLand AS together with Anima Vitae.
