Studio 100 Media has picked up the international distribution rights for Drop Dead Weird and Random and Whacky, two new live-action shows from Australia.

Drop Dead Weird is created by Sally Browning and Dean Cropp. The 26×24-minute comedy series targets kids 6 to 12 and is an Australian/Irish co-production by Ambience Entertainment, Air Pig Productions and Telegael. Studio 100 Media will be handling the worldwide distribution rights outside of the show’s home territories. A second 26×24-minute season is already in development for 2019.

Also for kids of 6 to 12, the comedy Random and Whacky comes from Monica O’Brien. The fast-paced 15×24-minute series aims to encourage kids to unleash their inner creativity. Season two (15×24 minutes) is already in development, slated for delivery by the end of 2019. Studio 100 Media will be distributing all rights worldwide, excluding Australia.
