SOMOS Next Launches Pinguinitos Brand


MIAMI: SOMOS Next has rolled out its Pinguinitos brand, featuring a catalogue of selected/branded animation in neutral Spanish for kids up to 5 years of age.

SOMOS Next focuses on the development and the commercialization of audiovisual content in the Spanish OTT market, and Pinguinitos’s content, which is free of violence, targets Latino toddlers and preschoolers. The goal of the brand is to help parents preserve Latino cultural traditions and languages via entertaining and educational programming. Pinguinitos features animated shows such as Chloe’s Closet, Dive Olly Dive, Bali and Monkey See, Monkey Do.

The content is available through direct distribution to the audience via YouTube, an app and the company’s website. The content is also available for companies interested in the specific demographic Pinguinitos targets. The Pinguinitos website also offers a range of educational videos, interactive games and other activities. SOMOS Next complements its online and OTT offering with the brand FlixLatino, which is dedicated to meeting Latinos’ demand for Spanish films.
