LONDON: Sky Kids has updated its app and launched new content, including episodes featuring the popular animated clay character Morph.

Now available on Sky Kids are brand-new Morph episodes and movie-making tutorials, as well as a new children’s version of Sky 1’s hit science panel show, Duck Quacks Don’t Echo: Kids, which is launching next week. Animated versions of The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child are coming soon. “We’re really excited about bringing Morph back to screens this half-term and everything to come for the Sky Kids app and kids’ shows on Sky,” said Lucy Murphy, Sky’s head of kids’ content.

New Sky Kids app features include Up Next, which prompts viewers to play the next available episode in a series, and Just Watched, allowing children to continue viewing where they last left off and see what they’ve been watching on the home screen. Users can also enjoy additional personalization of the Buddy World profiles, including new clothing and hairstyles for Sky Buddy avatars.

“The Sky Kids app has gone from strength to strength since it launched in March,” added Murphy. “New features have been popular with parents and kids alike, with Sleep Mode providing peace of mind around time spent watching TV on devices, and downloads making long car journeys with a young family slightly more bearable. But we’re not stopping there, as you’ll see more brand-new and exclusive shows and enhancements to the app, including Profile Sleep Mode, further personalization of Buddy World profiles and even more in the future.”
