Serious Kids Picks Up Girls of Olympus

Serious Kids has struck a deal with The Animation Band to represent Girls of Olympus (Ragazze dell’Olimpo), based on the books by Elena Kedros that have been published in 25 territories.

The animated series follows three high school girls who discover their true identities as reincarnations of Athena, Aphrodite and Artemis. Fighting mythological creatures and maintaining their school grades, they divert adult suspicions and go after Ares, the God of War.

The show is a co-production with Rai Ragazzi. It launched on Rai Play in July and will move to Rai Gulp this fall.

Serious Kids will represent the title worldwide, though the Italian-speaking European rights are retained by Rai Trade and The Animation Band.
