Scooter Braun On Board 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards

BURBANK: Talent manager Scooter Braun has become the creative executive producer for this year’s Radio Disney Music Awards (RDMA), which is slated for broadcast on Disney Channel this spring.

The fourth edition of the RDMA will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 30. The event will air as a special two-hour telecast, titled Disney Channel Presents the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards, on Sunday, May 1, at 7 p.m. on Disney Channel in the U.S. and later in 159 countries around the globe. Highlights will be available on Radio Disney, the Radio Disney app, the Disney Channel app and on the Radio Disney website.

Braun is the founder of SB Projects, an entertainment and media company with ventures in film, music, TV, technology and philanthropy. Among the talent under his management, record label and publishing companies are Justin Bieber, Tori Kelly and Carly Rae Jepsen. Braun also served as an exec producer on the feature film The Giver and the drama series Scorpion.

“As a new dad, I’m excited to continue a longstanding relationship with Radio Disney and creative executive-produce this year’s RDMA,” said Braun. “Having been a recipient of the Heroes for Change Award and after several artist performances, I’ve seen the show grow over the last four years and look forward to joining forces in a new way to take ‘Music’s Biggest Event for Families’ to the next level.”
