Disney Greenlights Camp Rock 3

Disney Branded Television has greenlit a third Camp Rock movie for Disney+ and Disney Channel, with Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers executive producing.

“Camp Rock is an important part of the Disney Channel Original Movie legacy, with unforgettable music, energetic storytelling and characters that live in the hearts of fans to this day,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. “Bringing it back with Kevin, Joe, Nick and Demi is such a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to reintroduce this world to a new generation.”

The Jonas Brothers will guest star in the movie, which begins when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour and return to Camp Rock to discover the next big talent.

Campers will be played by Liamani Segura (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland), Malachi Barton (Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires), Lumi Pollack (Electric Bloom), Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter (The Thundermans), Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean.

Camp Rock 3 is written by Eydie Faye (Slumber Party) and is being directed by Veronica Rodriguez (The Slumber Party). In addition to the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, executive producers include Tim Federle (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman and Gary Marsh.
